Mini Leaves

I just watched the program How It's Made. The topic was Dioramas. These two artist would make a what looked to be just a throw away diorama because they would take photographs of them and make some stunning wall art. In one of their dioramas they cut out tiny leaves with a leaf punch that had multiple leaf designs all in this one punch. Instead of using color paper they pressed real leaves in a book for about a week. I was amazed how realistic they looked.

"You've done a great job Lois Ann.  The changing colors spice it up even better ;)The only thing I'd recommend is to use styrodur (Polyurethane foam) instead of the beaded styrofoam. It's sturdier and smoother to shape."
